We are a dedicated team of compassionate women who have combined our love for dogs with our desire to make a difference in our community and the environment. Our work is guided by a shared commitment to canine wellness. We also choose alternative, reduced-plastic packaging to minimize our environmental impact and help protect the planet our dogs call home. In addition, we proudly support a Costa Rican dog sanctuary through community work that directly improves the lives of dogs in need. Every product we create reflects our belief that happy, healthy dogs make a happier planet.

Hello, I'm Erin.
I’m currently fur mum to Bowie, my lively little Yorkshire Terrier and the fourth dog to steal my heart! My background is in Administration, but my true passion has always been dogs. Along the way, I met wonderful friends who shared that same love, and together we turned our efforts to solving the health challenges our pups were facing. What started as a personal mission has blossomed into a business that helps so many more dogs live their best lives. I’m also a proud mum to two grown kids, Max and Kira.

Hello, I’m Mari-Claire.
My love for dogs—and really, all animals—has been a part of me since childhood. The bond between humans and animals has always filled my heart and made me feel whole.
After many years raising Goldendoodles in Ontario, Canada, as both cherished family pets and service dogs, I now live in beautiful Costa Rica with a few of my own poodles and a sweet rescue dog. They are my heart, my joy, and my daily motivation.
Working with dogs professionally for so many years has given me a unique perspective on their health and wellness. I’ve seen firsthand how much diet, exercise, and mindful care can influence their vitality. I’ve also witnessed how holistic nutrition and natural supplements can make a world of difference—helping to restore balance and even reverse chronic issues caused by over-medication and poor-quality diets.

In most photos from my childhood I am holding some kind of animal; worm, toad, frog, crayfish, turtle, kitten, puppy, rabbit, chicken... and it doesn't stop there. I love all animals (as well as my parents and my partner) very much, but my dog has always been my best friend. I also love a healthy diet, my friends and the sea. The Ponsonby Canine Wellness brand is an opportunity for me to slow down and concentrate on the things that I love. I am also a vet tech in my home city of Guelph Ontario Canada.
